Sperm WhalePhyseter macrocephalus
Physical Characters : Diving a mile or more below the surface, the sperm whale makes clicking noises to echolocate for prey. When it finds a shark or giant squid, the whale stuns its prey with a blast of sound and swallows it whole. They are upto 62 feet or 19 m long in size.
For years, whalers hunted this whale for the oil that fills its huge, square head. No one knows what the oil is for; scientists think it may help the whale focus sounds.
Distribution : They are spreaded in sea water of all over the world.
Food : Mostly they are eating sharks, squid, fishes.
